Mishnat Menachem on the Talmudic Sages is now on the shelves of leading Jewish bookshops. It summarizes and organizes all the Rebbe’s teachings regarding the personalities of the Talmud, Medrash and Zohar into one unique, user-friendly and useful reference work.
In over 1000 pages, close to 200 of the outstanding personalities and places of the Talmudic period come to life. The Rebbe’s descriptions of the insightful teachings, intellectual profiles, individual spiritual nature and significant events in their lives are presented systematically. The historical background, teachers, colleagues, students and noteworthy qualities of each personality are also provided. This is prefaced by an extensive outline of the Rebbe’s revolutionary approach to “learning”.
The highlights of the Rebbe’s father, Reb Levi Yitzchok’s Kabbalistic descriptions of hundreds of people and places of the Talmud, Medrash and Zohar are also summarized in understandable terms.
